What a Facebook conversation would look like between the top NFL Quarterbacks

(Total Pro Sprots) In case you hadn’t noticed, we’re currently in the midst of a golden age for passing in the NFL. Teams rely on that aspect of the game more than ever before, and running the football is something pretty much reserved for running out the clock…and the Seahawks. As a result, or maybe as a cause, this is also a golden age for great QBs. Never before have there been so many “great” quarterbacks in the league at one time. I mean, there’s Peyton Manning, Eli Manning,Drew Brees, Tom Brady, and Aaron Rodgers—and those are just the ones everyone can agree one. There are still other big names out there, like Ben Roethlisberger, who has himself a couple pieces of bling, and of course Michael Vick, plus a slew of young up-and-comers, including Robert Griffin III andCam Newton.

So with all those big names and even bigger egos out there, you gotta wonder—are they friends on Facebook? And if so, do they ever talk to each other? Yeah, I doubt it, too. But if they did, it would probably look something like this

Just about died when Russell Wilson chimed in there at the end. Where is Ponder at though? 10th in the NFL in QB Passer Ratings through 5 weeks, didn’t throw a single interception until his 5th game of the regular season, and has his team in 1st place in the NFC North. Yeah, we comin’. Then we got Gopher football sitting at 4-1, Gopher hockey moving into sole possession of 1st place in the USA Today NCAA rankings after absolutely throttling Lethbridge 7-0, outshooting them 65-16. Now if we can just get this NHL lockout settled, we’ll be set. Yup, things are lookin up for Minnesota sports once again. Speaking of which, the Vikings are good again this year, we can stop pretending to care about the Lynx.

PS – Harvin for MVP
