How sexy did the Gopher hockey team look this weekend? They made that series look effortless. And yeah it was only Michigan State, but that was a team that beat and tied them in their only series last year. Talk about setting the tone for the year. All the new-comers looked like seasoned vets. Every line was contributing. And that first two lines of Bjugstad, Rau, and Isacksion; and Budish, Haula, and Warning literally looked like men amongst boys. And I finally learned how to pronounce Brady Skjei’s last name (Shey). Anything less than a National Championship for this team would be a disappointment.
