Ya I put “freestyling” in quotes because last time I checked, freestyling doesn’t involve looking at a piece of paper for your lyrics. So let’s not try to make this out to be something it isn’t. Plus the mac n cheese pizza at Mesa is so fucking overrated, Cal. Or maybe I’m just jealous that the U of M got Timeflies and B.o.B for their Fall concert and UST decided to roll with the lesbo Colbie Caillat.
Yup, it was a tough weekend for Minnesota pro and college sports with the exception of the men’s Gopher hockey team shoving their dicks down the throat of Michigan State two nights in a row. But I’ll have more on that later. Vikings lost. Lynx lost. Gopher football lost. Green Bay apparently won the Super Bowl. At least the Twins didn’t lose. I even managed to get sucked in to the hype of the Gophers football team and had front row seats to witness another classic loss. Even with their team at 4-1 and on Homecoming weekend, the 50,000 person stadium wasn’t full to capacity. Just another reminder that being a diehard Minnesota sports fan is not the easiest thing to do sometimes.

Update on the “freestyling” sitch (reader comment): I just watched him perform at UMD, he has the piece of paper so he can remember what topics to bring up… he had someone from the audience give him a list of things that represented our school/city and then when down the list and incorporated it into the freestyle! Either way he’s still sick as fuck.
